Tariff on Attorneys' Fees and Reimbursement of Costs

XV. REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES

Tariff Item No. 48

An attorney shall be entitled to reimbursement of actual expenses necessary for carrying out the work entrusted to the attorney.

Expenses reimbursable under the provisions of the Tariff also include postal, telephone and banking service charges and other costs.

Tariff Item No. 49

For carrying out work outside the seat of the law office, the attorney shall be entitled, as travel expenses, to reimbursement of transportation costs and actual expenses incurred while absent from the law office.

Tariff Item No. 50

The attorney shall be entitled to reimbursement of transportation costs in the amount of the price of a firstclass express train or ship ticket, a business-class air ticket, and a sleeping-car berth on a train or a cabin on a ship if the journey must be made at night.

The reimbursement referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be due to the attorney in the amount of transportation travel expenses for travel by the shortest possible route.

For use of the attorney's own car, the attorney shall be entitled to reimbursement in the amount of 30% of the price of 100-octane unleaded petrol for each kilometre travelled, as well as toll costs.

Tariff Item No. 51

If the attorney must remain away from the office for more than one day or must stay overnight in a hotel, the attorney shall be entitled to payment of a daily allowance and hotel accommodation costs. The amount of the daily allowance referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be calculated at the rate of the daily allowance of a judge of the County Court in whose territorial area the law office is located.
